犬を賢くするデバイス

こんにちは。秋田県由利本荘市にある英会話スクール、ウィンザーイングッリッシュスクールの雑用係です。

雑用係の家では犬は飼っていませんが、アメリカで、Device claims to make dogs 'smarter'（犬を賢くするデバイス）
が開発されたそうです。

飼い主の声を入れたデバイスを使って、犬がボタンを押せば、ご褒美がもらえる、というもの。ビデオ付きです。
ちょっと悲しくなる人もいるかもしれません。

A team of US graduate students has developed a dog feeder which they believe can make pets smarter.
Co-founders of CleverPet Leo Trottier and Dan Knudsen met at the University of San Diego, where they studied
for PhDs in cognitive science and neuroscience respectively.

Using their experience of working with animals, they decided to develop a digital dog feeder, that uses
algorithms based on behavioural science to set dogs progressively harder challenges, with food as a reward.


Working out of their living room, they turned to crowdfunding service
Kickstarter to try and get funding for
their prototype.

Kickstarter とは2009年に設立されたアメリカ合衆国の民間営利企業で、自社のウェブサイトにおいてクリエイティブなプロジェクトに向けてクラウドファンディングによる資金調達を行う手段を提供している。
